Tina Paphitis is Associate Professor in Cultural Studies at the University of Bergen. Her research interests include legends and landscapes of Britain and the Nordic region, environmental folklore, walking methodologies and experiential fieldwork, as well as folklore and archaeology in fantasy literature.

Susanne Österlund-Pötzsch is Adjunct Professor in Nordic Folkloristics (Title of Docent) at Åbo Akademi University and an archivist specialised in traditional material. Her research covers disciplinary history and mobility in folk culture and everyday life.

Simon Poole is Associate Professor of cultural education and co-director of the Centre for Research into Education and Creativity through Arts Practices (RECAP) at the University of Chester. As a folklorist and the holder of the National Collection of Mentha in the United Kingdom, his work focuses on creative practices, including singing, songwriting, storytelling, walking, poetry, and, most recently, gardening.
