Although distinct in their historical development, the fields of ethnology and folklore share a central focus on the cultural and historical study of everyday life. This rigorously peer-reviewed new series publishes works from both fields that explore everyday life, past and present, either by pushing the intellectual boundaries of their contemporary or historical research—broadly defined—or by addressing pressing everyday issues worldwide as exemplary ethnographic studies. The series welcomes both monographs and coherently edited volumes.
