As we look forward to a productive 2017, Berghahn Books Inc. is undertaking significant changes to its print books distribution management.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We are delighted to announce that as of March 1st 2017, responsibility for print distribution for the Americas, Australasia, China, Taiwan, and Japan will be taken over by the Academic Services Division of the\u00a0Ingram Content Group, Inc.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Berghahn has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Ingram that has enabled us to take advantage of cutting-edge technologies, such as print-on-demand for reprints and digital asset management for ebooks. As such, strengthening our partnership to now include our print distribution builds upon an established foundation of excellent working relations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The forthcoming change promises to visibly strengthen operational and customer service synergies as well as to expand our market opportunities – particularly for our retail and textbook outlets – as we join an esteemed group of independent and university presses<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Berghahn will naturally endeavor to make the transition from our current warehouse in Dulles, VA to Jackson, TN as seamless as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are based in the Americas, Australasia, China, Taiwan, or Japan, the last date for placing orders through our berghahnmail@presswarehouse.com<\/span><\/a> email or over our website will be February 24<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

From March 1<\/b>, a new shopping cart will be launched offering an improved ordering experience.<\/span><\/p>\n
